Stayed for 2 nights with Dbb, 3 rounds of golf.
Fantastic course in great condition, staff were excellent and really looked after us even thought we were a rowdy bunch.
The bar stayed open late and a good time was had by all, would definitely stay again.

Superb Course
This is a lovely, well-maintained course, with a starter's hut that was actually manned, and course marshalls doing the rounds. Some very challenging holes, especially down in the valley bottom.Tee-boxes, fairways, bunkers & greens were all in good condition.
Reception/Starter were very friendly and welcoming.

Please cut the grass!
Was lovely to spend a long weekend here with two golfing friends, a lovely course. However the grass at the edge of the fairway was allowed to get to a good 4" long and a ball landing in this can take a long time to find. These are not badly hit balls, by the end of the weekend we had all had a guts-full of searching for balls. The fact that we weren't holding others up must have meant others were suffering too, our 4 ball on the final day took five and a half hours, with buggies. No excuses for allowing the course to get like this when taking money off folk for the privilege of playing it.Reviewer Rating

Have played a lot of golf in Cornwall but mainly at coastal courses. This summer it was great to discover Bowood, and finding an inland option made for a totally different golfing experience. The course is really well laid out, and the 600yd 7th is a proper par 5! Will definitely be back next year.

A must play for any golfer - Arrived early on a Sunday morning - had a really nice breakfast - hit a few balls down the range (which if I'm honest maybe wasn't the best) - A few practice chips on a great practice area with a green as good as those on the course - And a putt on a great quirky little putting green. Then the course - what a course, no two holes are the same and all were maintained to a very high standard - the back 9 is outstanding (despite taking 5 off the tee on a par 3!) The greens were a bit bumpy in places but still very true. All in all it's an awesome complex and for £40 It's probably the best value for money I have ever come across. Can't wait to go back!

Tough but enjoyable
Great course which I played whilst visiting the area for a week. Longer and tougher than my usual courses but well kept although greens were very bare perhaps because of the recent dry weather. Very long course and hilly and slopey in places and so good exercise!Reviewer Rating
