Beedles Lake is situated in the heart of the Wreake Valley, wit the River meandering through several holes. The course is maintained to an extremely high standard by Head Greenkeeper Tim Needham and his staff, and is a real cracker. The course is parkland course, and the fairways and greens are always in immaculate condition. A very playable course, if your game is on form, scoring well is achievable. With some interesting pin positions and guarded greens however, be careful not to push it too far!

Very testing golf course for a begginer so be prepared to lose some balls course is very well maintained and has excellent facilities.

the greens were in good condition but the fairway were in a sad state in some areas.
The round was a fair mixture of different strokes.
Watch out for the water hazards as these are just situated for the average punter.
Only things I found missing were the total lack of ball cleaning equipment and shoe cleaners.
The cabbage patches were heavy and some attempt at litter collection should be done.

Pretty course that's got some interesting holes. Lots of water here and there and quite tight in places. Beautiful condition and clearly well looked after by the groundstaff and members. A bit pricey (£30) unless intoduced by a member (£15), but if you can get someone to sign you in then its great value. Recommended.
