Situated less than 6 miles mile from junction 31 of the M6 and 3 miles from junction 6 of the M65, Blackburn Golf Club is highly accessible. The parkland course has extensive views of the Pennine Hills and Fylde coast.

Location
Location: From the M6 Junction 31 Follow the signs towards Blackburn, passing the Swallow Hotel keep straight on through three set of traffic lights. After approximately five and a half miles at the fourth set of traffic lights turn left into Revidge Road. Continue up the hill at the Dog Inn turn left into Beardwood Brow (narrow entry), Blackburn Golf Club is 300 yards on the right. From M65 Junction 6 Follow signs for Ring Road (A6119) to Clitheroe. Continue along the dual carriageway (A6119) through several sets of traffic lights. Pass St Gabriel’s Church on the right and at the next set of traffic lights follow the signs for Preston (M6). At the next set of traffic lights (at the Knowles Arms) turn left into Pleckgate Road. Continue through one more set of traffic lights onto Revidge Road. Continue past the radio masts until the Dog Inn is sighted, turn right opposite the Dog Inn into Beardwood Brow (narrow entry), Blackburn Golf Club is 300 yards on the right.

A good variety of holes and great views. The 18th is a tough hole to finish on. You must go left, a straight drive down the middle will roll off right into the rough. A bit unfair on high handicappers. Straight shots are rare and should not get punished.
All the par 3's are challenging and great fun. Some holes are a bit of a trek uphill, will keep you fit.
A really great course with holes to suit everyone.
