Ashburnham Golf Club
Overlooking Carmarthen Bay, the course has it's first two and final two holes inland near the clubhouse. Holes three to eight strike out, parallel to the sea, straight into the prevailing wind and holes nine to fifteen run back with the wind directly behind.
With out-of-bounds and assorted trouble on the right in both directions there is no peace for the slicer. Neither are the fairways of a generous width and the fact that the current course record is no lower than 66 bears witness to the credential of the challenge.

Location
Location: From M4 Motorway: 1. Exit the Motorway at Junction 48, and follow the signs toward Llanelli. 2. Drive through Llanelli, following all signs along the A484 toward Carmarthen / Kidwelly. 3. Enter Burry Port, following the A484 toward Carmarthen / Kidwelly. 4. Between Burry Port and Pembrey, follow the Brown Sign for Ashburnham Golf Club (left turn). 5. At the end of that road (T-junction), turn left. After crossing the railway bridge, the club is on the corner directly opposite.

A true links course that challenges you throughout. If you want an affordable top class course this is for you. Quick true greens, fairways with bumps and hollows.Comparable with Porthcawl but at a much lower price
