Superb weekend

Sunday Driver Golf Break, amazing value for 2 rounds of golf on a lovely, well kept course, dinner, bed and full English Breakfast with loads of other options. Use of the spa including swimming pool, steam room and sauna as well as indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Even the lousy weather on Sunday didn't take away from the enjoyment of the golf, we came back soaked through!

Just leaving winter and lots of the wet stuff coming down means a level of "soggyness" is to be expected.. And Ardencote did not let me down on that score, it must be said, it could have been on hell of a lot worse. The greens were amazing considering the weather, fairways had some water issues..

I tight technical course, the "big stick" doesn't get to come out much which makes a really good change. Really enjoyed playing the water hazards, and the facilities are amazing, all this for £40 a month !!!! Yes, play as much as you want fro £40 a month ! Needless to say, am now a member.. Bear in mind there is on CONGU registration, but if you want a course where you can just go and enjoy, this is the one.

the course is really 9 holes which i went around twice. A challenging pitch and put would be a good discription. it looks like they are increasing this course to 18 holes as alot of work is going. great experiance as it was well looked after. took me around 2 hours 15 to complete all 18 holes. great for a twighlight if staying in the hotel after work.

Everything was great except the course

Everything was great except the course, poor condition and very poorly managed. Wet and unplayable really. Quirky course with potential but needs looking after. Extremely disappointed with visit, enough to say will never visit again or recommend. An absolute shame because the hotel, dining and rooms were top notch. The golf was a complete let down.

Not great

I kept hitting the ball in the water. Not water hazards - the fairway. The whole course was completely waterlogged even though it had not rained that much. Goodness knows what it's like when it's really wet. On the greens my first putt frequently found the hole - but sadly not the one with the flag in. Some greens are OK, but some are pitted with holes and bare patches. The signage is very poor and it's hard to know where you're going. The 9th hole is somewhat unique but also very dangerous - as are other holes ("beware tennis courts to left of hole"). Look, it only cost me £15 so I can't complain - but you could do much better.

Lovely course

As usual, a great venue. Course in good condition. Interesting water shots, but no fountain running today. Gentle undulating course with a few steep banks. An enjoyable couple of days.

Great weekend

Great weekend here. Course was good but a bit cramed in so holes were very close to each other meaning a wait for other golfers on the next hole to clear your fairway was quite regular. Once trees have grown this will be a much better course, but we really enjoyed it. Great value for money, food was great, rooms air con didn't work though which wasn't good in this heat. Would go back.

Nice course for an easy round. Will be much more interesting once the trees grow but as such, a lot of the course is devoid of character. It's short so it's a nice easy round.

Short, forgiving course however, a few of the par 3’s are quire long. No heavy rough to lose balls in but there is a bit of water. Greens in excellent condition, as were the bunkers. Some holes are quite straight forward and a bit up and down however there are enough interesting holes to make the trip enjoyable. Will defo play again.
