played late afternoon (twilight £14 great deal).
Only the greens which are a bit bumpy and long let this course down.

Carswell have changed some of their tee's and added some new golf holes.
I played these on sunday and was impressed, they just need a little bit of maturing .
I think my handicap might go up a couple of shots too.

Have`nt been back since but did enjoy my visit, altho if I remember the course was still maturing & was flattish???

plenty of holes to let rip with the big stick.good greens if you get anywhere near them. will be challenging once trees have grown.

Reasonable enough cours for a midweek round but probably not worth making a huge diversion for. Friendly pro shop and bar but perhaps a little soulless, while the golf itself is fine without being excessively challenging, or memorable.

Course very poor, little soul or organisation around a sprouling clubhouse. Only saving grace is the peanuts it cost to play midweek - but then what else would you expect from a poorly constructed golf club
