BunkerFEST - Brand New Unique Golf Event

By: Darren Ramowski | Mon 01 Mar 2010

Bunker Mentality launch BunkerFEST Event in a nutshell 'Golf, Golf, Golf + Music + Good Times'

In an already exciting events calendar with the Golfshake.com North vs South, Golfshake.com Open, Gtour Amateur Golf Tour and many many events run by Golfshakers and Golf Societies around the UK, the BunkerFEST looks set to bring something different and exciting to all golfers in 2010!

The unique event will be ran over two days at De Vere Belton Woods by the guys from Bunker Mentality, one of Europe's most fashionable golf clothing brands, and is aiming to bring something unique to the game of golf.

Bunker Mentality’s Robert Hart said: “We have been talking about this event for some time now and we thought this year is the right time to launch it. The main idea is to have lots of fresh and original golf options, some fun, some serious and to create a lively atmosphere through out the event by having DJ’s playing music giving people a great time and building a festival atmosphere. ”

The inaugural BunkerFEST will take place at the De Vere Belton Woods where the staff under Head Pro Andy Cameron are very excited at the prospect. Andy Cameron says “ We do lots and lots of golf days here but when Bunker Mentality first approached us about BunkerFEST we were excited by the idea straight away. We are planning to create different challenges throughout the first 18 holes…stuff we have always wanted to do. So we can’t wait”.

The event is open to male and female golfers of all skill levels and several Bunker Mentality pro’s will also be playing.

The overall winner will have to be good across 5 different golfing challenges ranging from two rounds of 18 holes to the unique “Mutha Putta Challenge”.
