The first official golfshake.com Open will take place on Saturday the 19th September at De Vere Wychwood Park in Cheshire . Members competed during 2009 in member organised regional events around the Country for qualification and FREE entry into the Official Golfshake.com Open 2009 .
The final event is being kindly sponsored by De Vere , Golfbreaks.com, Teeofftimes.co.uk and Bunker Mentality with some fantastic prizes on offer for the finalists.
After 8 successful events, and several hundred competitors taking part, the final event will take place at De Vere Wychwood Park on Saturday 19th September 2009 with the entrants competing for some top prizes and to be crowned the 1st Golfshake.com Open winner.
The organisers are also being rewarded for their effort with the equally important 'Organisers Cup' which were all supported with good attendance from golfshake.com members and prize packs supplied courtesy of Golfbreaks.com and Teeofftimes.co.uk.
Wychwood Park will set a good challenge for those competing and was recently reviewed by the team at golfshake.com who found it a thoroughly enjoyable round of golf but requiring a thinking game to take on the challenge.
De Vere Wychwood Park
Wychwood Park is a superb 6,722 yard par 72 championship course. Although this course is relatively new it is maturing into a real championship classic. The course is a tough test for any golfer and features numerous lakes, streams and bunkers, all of which make it one of the most picturesque new courses in the whole of the UK.

A five star golf course in Cheshire. this course is laid out like a links course it has plenty of hazards water and long rough a great challenge played it twice now and we will be going back again.
