Stood on the 8th Tee looking across to the lakeland mountains on a sunny evening has to be one of the best spots to be in the UK. The views only add to what is a wonderful golf course. Not a course where you want to rip out the long drives but one where, for a change you have to think your way away around the course.
If you want a test in how accurate you are with your tee shots and approach irons then you will not be dissapointed. Add that to a friendly reception and great food what more could you want ??The Course

What a great course! Because it's short, you've got to treat it like a links course and leave the driver in the bag and get out the long irons. If you're not hitting straight, and, or, it's windy, you're going to lose a lot of balls and get crucified! A course where you've got to think about each & every shot. A delight.

Outstanding golf course - do not be put off by the 67 par. Whilst this may be a short course the challenge and thought you have to put into each shot makes it a significant and incredibly enjoyable course to play.
Add to this the amazing views you get from the 'top' of the Lakes... try and get to Windermere as soon as you can!!The Course

Relatively short course with some tricky holes.
The 1st hole is more like a links course hole, driving blind over some fearsome looking rocky outcrops.
Rocks do come into play on several holes and are obviously best avoided.
Nice clubhouse with friendly staff. The Course

Lovely views, not a long course but a tight one, very nice greens and well kept fairways. Good club house. They do have a practice area, but you will have to use your own balls there.

Tight, tough little course. Placement off tee vital! I only took driver out bag once on this course, 3 wood and 5 iron were the keys to a decent round.
