Positioned in the United Kingdom's Top 100 courses by Golf World magazine, The Duke's St Andrews is now on many golfers 'Must Play' lists.
Opened in 1995 and designed by 5 times Open Champion, Peter Thomson, the course was re-designed in 2004 by the U.S. based Kohler Company, home to the famed Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run golf venues.
Today, The Duke's is a heathland masterpiece. Gone are the revet-faced pot bunkers and in are rough-edged spacious bunkers synonymous with bygone years of heathland golf.
With the conditioning of the course comparable with some of the finest clubs in the land, and the friendly atmosphere and welcome afforded in the luxurious clubhouse, a visit to The Duke's is highly recommended.

Nice tough course even in early january. I play here very cheaply so value for money is brilliant. The clubhouse was being refurbed but normally really nice and we were offered complimentary coffees to compensate.

Wow, a must to do if you are in the St Andrews area. The course sits high in the hills surrounding St Andrews and gives you great views on St Andrews village and bay.
The course is owned by Herb Kohler and is similar to one of his courses in the US, Black Wolf Run.

as tough a heathland course as you will play,the selection of tees provides a challenge for all playing levels
