Abbotsley Golf Club
Two well crafted parkland courses and a 9 hole Par 3 await the golfer in this serene part of Cambridgeshire.
The Abbotsley Course
The par 72 (73 from the championship tees), Abbotsley Course is the older of the two courses with holes running through mature woodland, numerous lakes, ponds and excellent bunkering it offers 18 holes of great variety. Blended with superb greens the Abbotsley is a fantastic test of golf, a must play for any keen golfer. Don’t be fooled by the length of 6,311 yards it is no pussycat! Golf Monthly said of the Abbotsley Course –“The design is a revelation, the presentation is superb”
The Cromwell
The 6,087 yard, par 70 Cromwell Course is more open, offering marvellous views across the rolling Huntingdonshire countryside. It is a more forgiving golf course and offers light relief after the Abbotsley for the less experienced player.

The Huntingdonshire is our delicious 9 hole, par 3 course – small in stature but big and grand in name! It is a great course for beginners and less experienced golfers as well as setting an exacting short game challenge for better players.Contact Information

Just had full english breakfast and 18 holes for £20!!
A bargain. Course was very good for this time of year although some greens were a bit bobbly.
Will play again...

Abbotsley Course - A very challanging course - shorter holes are very tight. Needs precision and distance on a number of holes. Easy to get punished especially for anything wayward off the tees. Very good contition too.
I did this as part of a golf break playing the Cromwell course first then the Abbotsley. If I do it again I'd see if I could upgrade to play this course twice.

Cromwell Course - Pretty short (5739 yrs) - should have played off the whites which looked better challange on a few holes. Pretty open and not much of a challange. Would suit new golfers and those trying to build confidence.
Also a par 3 - dont bother not worth the £5 !

Staying overnight for a business meeting, it was an absolute pleasure to play 18 holes between 4 and 8pm. The course was quiet, but very challenging, never having played there before, but I will play there again, it was always interesting and never boring or predictable! Tee boxes need some attention though - they were quite bare and looked in need of TLC.

We had an overnight stay at this hotel and it was fantastic value for money.
The food was exellent and the staff could not do enough for you.
They had great humour as well as beeing very proffessional.
This is a must if you fancy an overnighter.
But the courses are worth visiting and playing on there own as there are two eighteen hole courses here.

Abbotsley is part of the Crown group with 2 courses. Not the longest in the world, but a number of "blind" shots and very tricky indeed. Opening up the shoulders could get you in alot of trouble here. The facilities are clean and functional. Food is good and a great friendly relaxed place to play and stay. Offer good deals and I would recommend this venue to anyone who wanted a good round.
