Minnesota has become a more popular state in recent times. The golf in the region is generally up to par, with some courses really standing out in terms of quality. The TPC Twin Cities Course, built as part of The Players Championship course network is proof enough that this is an excellent location. Minnesota has also gained in popularity thanks to the states two national sports teams, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota Vikings, both class teams in their own right.
