Golfshake Refresh - Going Responsive, Continued Improvements

By: Golf Shake | Thu 09 Jul 2015

You may have noticed a few changes on Golfshake over the last few months and to coincide with the refreshed design, layout and branding we've also updated our moto to - Play More, Play Better.

Earlier this year the golf score tracker saw enhanced reporting and charts added to the #1 online score tracking service. The updates were focused around providing better data to help golfers identify their strengths and weaknesses on the quest to improve and play better golf.

The site also underwent some updates to the branding as well as design updates to better serve the increasing number of visits on a multitude of platforms and devices including tablets and smart phones.  The new look site is fully responsive for anyone visiting to read news, reviews, watch tuition videos or access the golf course information and reviews.

Responsove site

The new responsive site not only provides a better reading experience for site visitors but Golfshake have also committed to advertisement responsibility and viewability for its partners.   To improve the experience for both visitors and advertising partners the new responsive site ensures a responsible approach to how adverts are delivered including new lazy load footer advertising and reduction in ads displayed on some devices.  The updated site also includes new sticky adverts which are only delivered to desktops.

The new look branding, site and layout is already showing success making it easier for visitors to find, read and engage with the content, services and functionality that we provide online

In an ever changing landscape and changing consumer habits Golfshake are at the forefront of golf online and continue to push forward in 2015 to bring more relevant functionality and content to golfers who want to play more and play better.
