The scene is set, we now know the pairings for the first round of fourballs of the 40th Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. The pairings were announced this afternoon at the opening ceremony by captains Paul McGinley and Tom Watson.
7:35am: Bubba Watson & Webb Simpson v Justin Rose & Henrik Stenson.
7:50am: Rickie Fowler & Jimmy Walker v Thomas Bjorn & Martin Kaymer.
8:05am: Jordan Spieth & Patrick Reed v Stephen Gallacher & Ian Poulter.
8:20am: Keegan Bradley & Phil Mickelson v Sergio Garcia & Rory McIlroy.
