New Scheme Helps Staffordshire Firms Mix Business and Pleasure

A new scheme in Staffordshire aims to show that you can mix business with pleasure.

Get into GolfThe golf development team in the county is launching a Golf 4 Business campaign aimed at local employers and those who work for them.

Run under the umbrella of the Staffordshire County Golf Partnership, the campaign will offer free taster sessions for groups of up to eight people.

A further five weeks of coaching with a PGA qualified professional is available at a cost of just £25 per person.

Says county development officer Sean Hammill: “Golf is a sport that suits all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Get into golf is a national campaign to inspire new golfers run by the England Golf Partnership through its network of County Golf Partnerships, which work to grow the game.

Get into golf opportunities include free or low-cost beginner courses with PGA professionals. They are a fun and sociable way to start golf – and a great way to make new friends.

Discounted lessons can cost as little as £25 for a five-week course.
