The Trilby Tour’s latest new Matchplay competition is now open and taking entries online in a bid to find the ultimate Single and Pairs Matchplay Champion.

Trilby Tour 2013 MatchplayThe final sixteen will then go through to the televised final next summer at a top secret venue and filmed as part of the Trilby Tour series on Sky Sports. All finalists will be kitted out with a William Hunt outfit, exclusive golf bag and caddy outfit.

"It's a Trilby Tour event that anyone can take part in from across the UK and beyond. You play on your local course against a friendly rival and the winner goes through to the next round. Of course it gets progressively harder but that's the fun of the Matchplay.

Then we'll put the top 16 in front of the crowds and cameras and add a bit of drama into the mix - that's when we'll really start to sort the men from the boys!"

Entry details

  • Entry fee is £30 for singles, £60 for pairs.
  • Maximum handicap 28, minimum age 18 years on May 1, 2013.
