Pete Cowen to Appear at Golf Live 2012

By: Sarah Ramowski | Wed 14 Mar 2012

As someone who has worked with the biggest names in golf including European Tour star Lee Westwood, there are few coaches better qualified to teach the game than Pete Cowen and he will be on hand to pass on his expert advice to visitors at this year’s Golf Live.

Cowen’s list of clients reads like a Who’s Who of golf, with the likes of Open champions Padraig Harrington, Darren Clarke and Louis Oosthuizen, 2010 US Open winner Graeme McDowell and Danish star Thomas Bjorn all having benefited from his knowledge.

His coaching techniques have helped Westwood reach the top of the world rankings and the golfing public will be able to share Cowen’s swing methods and secrets at the event, which takes place at the London Golf Club, Kent, from May 18-20.

Cowen will host a series of clinics at Golf Live – the biggest interactive event of its kind in the world – offering advice and tips to help golfers improve all aspects of their play.

James Goode, Golf Live’s event director, said: “Pete is one of the most highly-respected coaches in the world and it’s a major coup that he has agreed to appear at this year’s show.

“Every golfer, no matter what their standard, wants to improve and it is not often you get the chance to listen and pick up tips from one of the best teachers in the game. It will be invaluable.”

Cowen’s appearance will be just one of the star attractions available to visitors at this year’s Golf Live – the third time the event has been held.

Tickets for Golf Live cost just £20 for adults while under-18s can gain free entry by registering on Golf Live’s website.
