Tee It Up Alongside Monty at Golf Live
Posted by: Darren Ramowski on Fri 02 Mar 2012
Every golfer dreams of playing alongside their idols and visitors to this year’s Golf Live can do just that by teeing it up alongside a host of top Tour professionals – including victorious European Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie.
Amateurs are being offered the chance to play a hole with some of the leading players in the game as part of an exciting new hospitality package on offer at the event, which takes place at the London Golf Club from May 18-20.
For £375 plus VAT per person, visitors can pit their wits on a hole against Montgomerie – an eight-time winner of the European Tour Order of Merit title and one of the most respected figures in golf.
Also included in the seven-hole Heritage Package is the chance to play against another star name from the game on a different hole, learn some trick-shots from leading exponents Jeremy Dale or Paul Barrington and take on 2010 World Long Drive champion Joe Miller in a Beat the Pro contest.
And if that wasn’t enough, the package also features straightest drive and nearest the pin competitions and the opportunity to have a video swing analysis session with a top Tour coach, with the footage to be e-mailed to you after the event.
The Heritage Package is a great opportunity for people to play seven holes on the London Golf Club’s Jack Nicklaus-designed Heritage Course – venue for the 2009 European Open- and the benefits don’t stop there.
As well as the chance to play golf with the stars, the exclusive package also includes priority seating in the event’s theatres and masterclasses, informal Q & A session with the Tour professionals and celebrity presenters, all-day complimentary bar, full English and continental breakfast, three-course buffet lunch and afternoon tea.
The Heritage Package, which is limited to 40 places per day, is one of a number of hospitality offers available to visitors at this year’s Golf Live – the most interactive show of its kind in the world.
A range of other VIP promotions are available including the Clubhouse Package, which includes all the features of the Heritage offer without the golf for £175 plus VAT per person.
Event ambassador Montgomerie and South African legend Gary Player head a list of stellar names already confirmed for the event with more top stars set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets cost just £20 for adults while under-18s can gain free entry by registering on Golf Live’s website.
