Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, headline attractions at this week’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, wowed onlookers at Abu Dhabi Golf Club yesterday as they ‘moved’ to the UAE capital’s distinctive traditional beat taking part in a traditional emirati ayala dance.

The ayala dance celebration officially ushered in the seventh annual Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship in what is the strongest field ever assembled at a Middle East tournament.

AIn the hunt for the Falcon trophy, the tournament line up includes defending champion, Martin Kaymer, world numbers one, two and three, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy.

Reigning Major champions, Charl Schwartzel and Darren Clarke, Australian hot-shot, Jason Day, Korea’s top ranked player, KJ Choi, Spain’s Sergio Garcia and Ireland’s Padraig Harrington are also in the star studded line-up.
