Zoom Focus S Golf Laser Rangefinder Review

"Wow! I’ve been so impressed with this rangefinder and excited to have this in my golf bag for the upcoming summer season.

"It’s very user-friendly, I was able to lock in on the flag first time every time, which meant I was quickly able to get on with selecting my club and work out the best plan moving forward. Not a lot frustrates me more on the course than someone taking an age to pick their club and play their shot. Zoom Focus S provides a quick accurate reading and prevents any dilly and dallying.

"In the wet conditions, I always find the rangefinder even more important - I can literally get a reading and know where I want the ball to land. Now, it’s not a miracle worker, I still need to select the right club based on that information and play a good shot- but it sure is nice to know my good shots will be rewarded and I won’t be left cheesed off having misjudged the distance.

"Playing a course for the first time? Then this is a critical bit of kit. Not knowing the size of the greens or the pin positions, the 'watch' just doesn’t always get the job done, but Zoom Focus S means I can totally trust my distance to the target.

"I was able to use the slope feature too. Again, having this feature really aided me, allowing me to totally get after my shot with no doubt in my mind whether I had the right club in my hands.

"The clearness through the lenses is also a treat. I was able to locate puddles around the greens and other obstacles on a course I hadn’t played previously. I can zap other spots on the course too, not just the flag. I could determine hazard distances too which was especially useful when out of position and when deciding whether to take on the water or play up short.

"All in all I absolutely recommend the Zoom Focus S. Comes in a neat waterproof case that clips easily on any golf bag. Definitely a winner! Five stars!"
