Looks

My initial thought was how on earth could they make a rangefinder that small - literally the size of a credit card! It has a very sleek and modern look to it. Also comes with a very nice looking magnetic leather case with a carabiner attachment. Very, very impressive it has to be said.

Feel

The device fits so easily into the palm of your hand to give a lovely and simple feel when zapping your target. The buttons are in the best places I believe for use. Definitely has a very well built feel to it.

Performance

This is really where it comes up trumps. The aim Quantum makes it very simple to get your target, and boy oh boy does it do that fast. I’ve had a go with numerous rangefinders down the years, all of differing brands and costs, and none are anywhere near as fast as this. The clarity through the lens is also second to none. Very easy to click from slope on to off. When off it lights up red and green when on. A great feature.

Also by turning the diopter (viewfinder) you can easily focus on the target.

The mode button switches between standard (pin seeker) to scan mode which gives yardages to all targets ahead.

Pros

Small and pretty simple to use. Love the green/red colours when slope is on/off. Scan mode is a very handy addition especially when playing new/unfamiliar courses.

At the price you really cannot go wrong. It literally has it all.

The best thing is that it's rechargeable via USB (included in the box) so no need to keep changing batteries.

Cons

None!

The Bottom Line

This has been the best rangefinder that I have tried. It has everything you’d need. Small and light, plenty of great functions, and I’ve been using it now for just over three months (roughly 25 rounds) and I’ve only charged it once - how good is that!

If you are in the market for a rangefinder I would 100% recommend this. Absolutely well worth the investment.
