The Inta Group ceases trading

Golf specialist The Inta Group Ltd ceased trading, Abta has announced.

The firm, which was set up 20 years by Hexham golfing enthusiast Bill Goff, operated under a number of different brands including 3D Golf, Longshot Golf Holidays, Bill Goff Golf Tours, Jack High Bowling Holidays and Sunshine Challenge. In recent years it had developed 4golf.com, a no-frills internet venture and teetimesanywhere.com, an online golf course booking system.

It employed 20 people at its headquarters in Gateshead, had an annual turnover of £25 million and arranged golfing trips around the world for 28,000 clients annually.

It's website provides information for clients on how they could claim their money back through the Civil Aviation Authority on (0207) or the travel association ABTA.
