Golfshake.com Open - first event ready to roll

By: Golf Shake | Thu 07 May 2009

The first event in the Golfshake.com Open 2009 takes place on Sunday 10th May at Mardyke Valley in Essex and sees 48 golfers ready to battle it out for a spot in the Golfshake.com Open.

Mardyke Valley Golf Club is a new and exciting 18 hole Parkland Course with undulating fairways, challenging holes and stunning Lakeland views. The course is among the most picturesque in the County, encompassing a number of environmentally protected areas with a wide range of wild life and flora. Standing in 140 glorious acres, this par 70 course is gaining a fine reputation. The contours of the valley ensure that golfers' skills are tested to the full.
