Putting Alignment Drill with Chris Paisley

By: Golfshake Editor | Thu 01 Aug 2019

European Tour winner, Chris Paisley and his Putting Coach, Andy Paisley highlight the importance of positive alignment during the putting set-up. There simple drill acts as a useful tool for golfers to practice with both on the course and practice greens, working on improving their set-up and starting the ball on better lines.

Chris carefully lines up square to a target that is only just infront of him that matches up with the line of the hole, which he uses as his measure of if he hits a good putt or not. By aiming at a target only 2ft infront of him as opposed to 15ft, Chris feels like he will miss smaller and be more accurate.

Its a tip many professional golfers use throughout their game, one which many amateurs may feel might considerably help their game on the greens.
