Path and Tempo Drill with Chris Paisley

By: Golfshake Editor | Thu 01 Aug 2019

European Tour winner, Chris Paisley and his Putting Coach, Andy Paisley talk about their useful tips for maintaining a better path and tempo during the putting stroke, including the most effective ways to practice this.

One feature that Chris Paisley uses to improve tempo is a metronome system, the constant beats allow him to feel his putting stroke matches this beat. The metronome aims to help the golfer be more intuned with their tempo and control the pace of their stroke better.

Another feature that Paisley uses is a Visio Arc mat, this helps him practice the correct path he needs for a more consistent stroke, as well as help him identify when his face may be slightly closed or open to the path.
