I'm led to believe the North may already have choosen a Captain and Vice for 2012 ?

any thoughts, offers or takers for the South ?

Dave Ley asked me early on today and I declined, but on second thoughts, as this might possibly be my last time at this event I am willing to offer my services, providing it is acceptable to the South Team.

Now that John is Commandant I'm expecting a phone call "Dont you come near my South Team untill you have sorted that 'orrible out to in. Come and see me."

Which reminds me, we must set a date for my next trip up John.

Couldnt think of a better person for the job in all honesty. Maybe you could convince Marshall to turn up and get him to make tea for everybody, clean shoes and such like!

Tim, in that case perhaps you would'nt mind tempering that by becoming vice captain for this event. Your input would b e greatly appreciated.

Matt, David did say that he was going to come up for a game at Caversham, so perhaps we could fix that up for the three of us. I will keep in touch.

I'm 100% against John being South captain.  Obviously.  Because 'll be playing for the North and want to win and John being South captain will make that more challenging

Thanks, Chris, it is the event itself which is always the winner. Great to catch up with old friends from the North on this great week-end that Golfshake organises so well.

John, we haven't always seen eye to eye on the forum but you seem to have backing from the masses as a valued member of the site and with your wise head I'm sure you can lead us to victory.

Been using Golfshake for a few years now but this will be my first event as long as it doesn't fall one a date I can't make. Looking forward to it.
