Chris, it is me who has dropped out as I called Dave Ley and said that I was not feeling to well and then once I received an email from DarrenR saying that there was a probability that with all the recent bad weather the chance of a buggy was probably going to be remote.

I am disappointed of course as you well know that I have suported many Golfshake events over the years.

Thanks for the kind words my friends, I try not to make excuses when playing, but sometimes one just does not feel right. Last night I had a severe bout of AF again, so decided that not playing would be the right decision. As it happened I woke up feeling so much better and then regretted dropping out, but Heh, it seems as though everyone had a good day, well impressed with my buddy Dave Ley and equally impressed with Brian W and his fine round.

Martin, who took my place had an excellent day as well, so did my old mate Tim Hawkins who is always good for a steady round.

Well done lads, we will get a game sometime, I am sure.
