Golf around Taunton

Morning all,

Myself and 7 others from our cricket club are travelling down to Taunton from Durham next week and were thinking about a couple of rounds of golf before watching Durham CCC take on Somerset CCC, any recommendations for courses around the area?

I live in Weston-super-Mare just up the M5 and have played both of these before.

Oak manor has lots of well placed water and Taunton Vale is very novice friendly.

Yes, I have played it, Paul, a long while ago though so cannot advise on current condition. It was a very nice course in the sixties and seventies.
