If you played any new tracks, shot a great score or just had a round that you want to tell everyone about then post on Golfshake to win a prize from the Golfshake prize bag.

All you need to do is either:

  • Post your own blog about your round, course review or anything else golf related
  • Comment on this article
  • Post to the Golfshake forums
  • or submit a course review

We will pick out the best posts next week and announce the winner on Golfshake and within the weekly newsletter.

I've been keeping a little blog here - just as a matter of record for myself really too look at my progress (I had lesson 1 2 months ago).  Is it visible to everyone, or is it jsut me and my "buddies"?

I have read your blog, Nick, and I must say that you appear to be doing everything in the right order.

If your new swing is pretty correct then you will see a rapid progression when you get onto the course.

Slow play is not caused by hitting poor shots at all, it is usually because the amblers have not yet learned to walk at a brisk pace.

Thanks John.  I feel like I am trying to learn a skill that will last me the rest of my life, and some lessons, and care with attention to detail in practice are the way to go, rather than truning up at the black tees with a borrowed driver and sending the ball 200 yards beyond the white posts.

That'll still happen I am sure, but at least I might have some idea why.  I am staggered that already, when I hit a bad one, I could tell you why it went wrong.  I'm sure just a few more lessons and a couple more lunchtimes at the range will be all I need to get a Tour Card!

Hello Sanderslongdrive

You need to go to the Community tab, and they are at the bottom of the list.  It's not obvious.

Yes - the blogs are not easy to follow, because as people add their own, others just disappear.

However, we do have our own unique page, with just our own blogs on.

To get there you need to follow a secret sequence of events.

1.  Click on my name.  It takes you to my details.

2.  You will see a "my blog" tab.  Click that.

And there you go.  I think that you have to be logged in to Golf Shake to see this - we can't have the hoi polloi non members reading the information shared.

Let me know how to get in touch.
