no-1 - decent fairways & greens no - 2 - not too expensive or if so, do deals like 2 fore 1 or price comes down after 1pm no - 3 - variety of holes, ie; dog leg right and dog leg left, water on some, elevated greens, risk/reward holes like short par fours where where you can have a go at driving it, but if you fail you get punished. Basically not just the same boring hole after hole, you know what they say variety is the spice of life. |

1. Greens - If you have poor greens, it completely ruins the whole golfing experience. Nothing worse hitting a great approach shot, only to have to 3 putt or more because there are bumps and potholes all over the place! 2. Scenery - Nothing better than to walk around a golf course with beautiful landscapes and scenery. Water features and feature holes make some courses stand out from the others. Just look at the 17th at Pebble Beach! |
