Being as expressions of interest were asked for last August, we've been waiting a fair while for this to get going and the summer months are starting to get booked up.

James no worries, it didn't take off like I had hoped and hence the dragging. The plan is to still push ahead in an experimental form.  Having done other variances of events it makes me wonder if the approach is registraion fees to get confirmed and concrete interest from players rather than the approach I've previously taken.  Just to clarify though there is no plan to charge an entry fee for this or other events.

Good stuff, if this doesn't quite fit within the 2011 season then that is all fine.  It's experimental and trying to find out what people want and what we (golfshake) can help to assist/faciliate.  The North vs South is a great event and just trying to find others which are different and people want to play.

So whats happening now ?

Are we going ahead with the draw and see how we go or is it being sheved ?

Is there any news on how this is moving forward? It seems a shame to shelve it after quite a number of pairs are signed up ready to go, what's the delay?
