I don't think it was you Matt but someone recently asked about playing in competitions for the first time.

Whilst I would always promote Golfshake and Gtour as a friendly social bunch of players open to anyone, for anyone new to competition golf check out the last item in the article the UK Golf League.  They are based in Surrey but set-up by a couple of Pros look to encourage more people to take up golf and play in competitive formats hence no handicap or club membership requirements.
