Forming a new golf society - Any tips

So a few friends have started playing and we are trying to get a society off the ground. First day out we only had 7 players, this week we had 14 despite terrentia rain and we are expecting 20 odd for next months game.
I'm going to start running this as a society so any tips from anyone who's been through this before I start?
