Richard, search bar appears in blue on the main forum page or active posts plus you also have the forum search in the 2nd navigation bar 
Dave, links in black is this easier on your eye ?

Dave, if you were worried now what to the new updates come out! you have me worried not and feel like I may need to do some member testing first before unleashing!
