Ryder Cup - best way to watch?

Posted by: user227096 | Mon 27th Sep 2010 13:59 | Last Reply

I am going to the final day on Sunday. I have never been to a live golf event before and would appreciate any advice as to the best way to follow the golf. Move around? Stay in one place?

Any advice would be appreciated - but dont tell me the best place is in the armchair with a cold beer.

Cheers

The Ryder Cup is special, apart from it being Match-play.

I would watch all the matches off the first Tee, keep an eye on the scores and go seek the interesting match. Then try to be there when the winning putt is holed.

I have a chance to go to some friends in Cwmbran at some stage this week.

I'm there Friday so will let you know.  I've been to the BMW at Wentworth before but never the Ryder Cup.

I would suggest taking a big rolled up newspaper & then when one of the Yanks yells "GET IN THE HOLE", bash them over the head with it

I just hope Paddy produces the goods. Got to be a question mark over him and Hanson.

I think he answered a few critics over the weekend getting a top 10 finish?

Casey seems to have bottled his last few events even when leading. We'll know next week whether Monty was right.
