Similar to the European team some discussion to be had there. Fowler over Kim ?

Looks a very strong side now, regardless of the Woods decision

Players will have an idea of who they will possibly be paired with before Celtic Manor.

Interesting Press Conference from Pavin. Looks and sounds very relaxed making a few jokes.

Talking up Fowler big time, expect a few games from the youngster. Vs McIlroy in the singles?

Fowler beat McIlroy in Walker Cup! Re-match PLEASE!

Woods was always going to be in, and he is slowly improving, he will play well. Cink and Johnston are good, not sure about Fowler, but then what would I know.

I would have went for 3 out of the 4, with Anthony Kim replacing Cink.

Good team, some exciting match ups hopefully, if both captains give us what we want.

Mark I would have picked Cink for experience and have had Kim over Fowler again for experience and enthusiasm, Ricki can provide this but is an unknown quantity in the Ryder Cup, guess like Kim was.

good picks tbh. if fully fit and playing at his best id take anthony kim in there before any of them on the form he was in before his op, that said had he not had it he'd have qualified easily anyway. but since hes been back he doesnt look right and is struggling a bit which due to the nature of the surgery is to be expected.

with that in mind i think the picks were spot on, tigers getting better every week since he started up with his current coach, cink has the big game experience and zach johnson has been in good form of late also. as for ricky fowler, he blows hot and cold but if hes on his game hes a superb talent and also very exciting to watch as he always seems to be attacking the course no matter what so im really glad hes going and i can just see them putting him up against mcilroy and telling him to go out there and show the world.

cant wait tbh ive booked the friday off work and im off the rest of the weekend anyway. just get the beers and junk food in and let the battle commence. lol

I'm sure we all remember the kind of treatment Lee Westwood got at the hands of the US crowd two years ago. If not, this article has a reminder of what went on. I reckon European fans will see that as carte blanche to say whatever they want to Tiger Woods this time around. He's not used to stick and I can't see him coping with it. His head's still not right, he was a bad pick.
