Hi Guys and Ladies, I have been playing for just over 12 months, joined a local course in April, and have had one or two rounds well below my 28 club handicap. I have been using Ping G2 irons but last week went out with a set of Wilson Fat Shaft Tour Cast and my game seemed to improve quite a bit. So should i go and get the Ping custom fitted or ditch them for the Fat Shaft with a view to return to tem when my game is a lot better. Your advice would be appreciated
Thanks

That's a difficult one Robert. Someone told me that one can import quality irons from China very cheaply. But sadly, I do not think that we have a member who lives there. You must have someone whom you know there in China otherwise the goods could be counterfeit. If only we had a Golfshake member living in China! |

I take that as your implying the Ping G2 are counterfeit? They were purchased from a local Golf Pro Shop and have been registered with Ping by my father, the previous owner. Could the fact the clubs were custom fitted to his swing be a major factor? I myself dont feel i have a consistent enough swing to get them adjusted to my needs. As a high handicapper would having them adjusted now benefit me more? |
