With all the talk of some big players missing the last fee European events due to their schedule in the US, would you do the same?

 If your weren't contracted to play in certain events by sponsors and you had your card on the PGA Tour, would you do everything you cOULD to make the Ryder Cup or would you stick to your schedule and play in the far more lucrative events in the US?

I would certainly do the same and let selection for the Ryder Cup take its course. If one has not automatically qualified than one is dependent on the whims of the Captain, and this years Captain certainly has his favourites.
