Good luck to anyone out on the course, playing in society, club comps, social rounds, anything else and especially to those competing in the GS Open qualifiers in the North East, West Mids and Yorkshire.

How have the golfing gods faired with the weather today ?

Yorkshire and North East qualifiers looked okay but with some poss rain in the West Mids GS Open qualifier.

Heavy rain down south, my dad is currently playing in Hertsfordshire and he said there isn't much rain so looking good for the northern parts??

I live about 12 miles from Forest of Arden and theres been loads of rain today, some quite heavy, and it has been quite windy also.

Not the best conditions for golf!

It was, err, changeable!!!

A little dull to start with, we had a few showers and some sunny spells. A couple of the showers did get quite heavy. I was a liitle concerned the course might get closed when there was some thunder and a couple of flashes of lightening in the distance, but luckily it passed us by.
