Ok, a two week break due to sciatica and decided to give it a go today. First shot on a par 4 hook right, lost ball! There's me thinking, it's going to be one of those days! Ended up with a triple bogey.

Next hole a bogey so four over after two holes.

It certainly was one of those days, but for the better. The next 16 holes I carded 14 pars and two bogeys and not only broke 80, which for the last year have been dying to achieve, but absolutely smashed it with PB of 76!

whether you are breaking 100, 90 or whatever, the feeling is unbelievable. 

I learnt a valuable lesson today and that is to be positive. I was determined not to let the first hole determine the rest of my round!

I can't stop smiling I am on a cloud!
