Please could people advise to some of the better golf courses in the notts and mansfield area. But reasonable green fees though.

I have recently picked my clubs up for the first time ages and myself and playing partner have decided to start playing with a little more commitment than in recent years.

If anyone could recomend courses it would be a great help

thanks in advance

Find a member to play with you at Wollaton Park on a Monday to Friday basis and each of you can play all day for £26. each. It was a beautiful course 45 years ago and I expect that it still is.

Still is a fantastic course Sanders.

Scott your lucky enough to have quite a few in the area, just depends how much your willing to pay and how far your willing to travel.

Few that I have picked out:

Cotgrave Place - 2 courses

Ruddington Grange

Springwater

Beeston Fields

Mapperley

All to name a few. Have a search here for some good prices. Enter your postcode top right and happy golfing.

My favourite in that area is Worksop Golf club. I played there every year for about five years in the Dukeries Pro-Am, an annual event. Incidently this was in the seventies, so I am not up to date on its condition now, but it was an excellent course.
