It's that time of the year again when the great and good meet up in sunny Worcestershire and, as well as raise some money for the homeless of Worcestershire, try and win the prestigious YMCA Worcester Charity Golf Day Trophy! The event page can be found here:

YMCA Worcester is holding its annual Charity Golf Day on Wednesday  15th September 2010 at Ombersley Golf Club. We would love you to join us, generate some business and help local people who are experiencing real life challenges. 

Our Charity Golf Day is a terrific event…     year after year participants tell us what a great time they have playing on one of the best local courses, meeting interesting new people, chatting with the YMCA residents and enjoying a fantastic meal along, with more than a few laughs!

 You can:

• Enter a team (only £150.00 per team of 4)
• Donate a raffle prize (anything that will sell more tickets!)
• Sponsor a trophy or prize (become immortal by sponsoring a new trophy!)
• Sponsor a hole (£25 per hole)
• Sponsor the event (get your name on all the promotional literature, the event programme and have an opportunity to tell every golfer at the Club about your goods and services – this could be part of your Corporate Social Responsibility initiative!)

 This year we are raising money to re-surface our all weather pitches to improve these facilities for socially excluded groups and the wider Worcester community. 

 

 

As a member of the winning team since the inauguration of this worthwhile event I have already entered for this year.

Ok ladies and gentlemen, now that my progress in the Golfshake Open has been abruptly halted I can concentrate on the second biggest title of the year!

I've got 12 players confirmed and another 5 interested. I need to know who's playing with who and the contact details of the captain, or if you're entereing as an individual just PM me your address and I'll send you an application form.

Unlike Chris Perry, I have organised fine weather for this event.
