Who's getting out on the course this weekend?

Where and when?

I'm playing Tytherington GC up in Macclesfield in a team event, shotgun 8am start cannot wait if the weather stays like this!

I'm playing in a staff vs Members match at Great Hadham Golf Club in Hertfordshire. (Bishops Stortford)

I'm representing my other half who works there as I'm neither a member or Staff!

I'm not playing this week bloody typical with the good weather but I have just booked 36 holes at Carden Park for next Saturday. Playing the Cheshire course in the morning and the Nicholas in the afternoon.

Best of all it is completely free as I'm a member at another DeVere venue.

Adam.

Go on your own....I often do...In fact do some of my best thinking when I'm out on the course on my own.

Also wait until twilight rates kick in and go round at your own pace!! You'll love it ;-)

I need to practice, shot 75 today round West Hill with 5 birdies I knew it was going to be a struggle as I haven't played a great deal due to injury, my first putt of the day lipped out and ended up 10 ft away, so if anyone wants to play some Augusta style greens this week then get yourself over there - it's in fantastic condition and a great course.

Playing everyday next week so I will hopefully find some form

I have a 1st Team League Match tomorrow afternoon at Thorney Lakes GC. Got to try and get the team back on winning ways having lost the last 2 matches. Myself and my Partner still have a 100% undefeated record though.

Sunday then sees me participate in Club Championship at Belton Park. 36 Hole Medal. Forecast for Sunday looks to be a scorcher, so going to have to use every method for staying cool, hydrated and energy levelled up for that. Only downside to playing it is I'm not going to be able to watch England vs Germany in the afternoon as my 2nd round starts at 1:35pm.

West Hill, Eh!! Steve, you lucky fellow. One of my favourite tracks since I first played there in the early sixties. A fantastic halfway hut.

I've played 36 holes today in my clubs Champioships. I can't believe the scores I came out with. 1st 18 I was going along steady, then got the 15th and developed a case of the S****s with any club with 'Wedge' in its name. Made a Triple, a Quad, and two Doubles to finish my opening round with a 91.

Had my lunch and went back out for round 2, fortunately my shot game issue had gone away. Actually was going really well, only 3 over gross after 13 holes. Then somehow with 5 holes to play carded a 5 over and 4 double bogeys and finished 16 over par. Another blown round.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse I then was told the Germans had won the football.
