Couldn't believe it .......................

Playing our local 9 hole par3 course yesterday with my wife,  whom I very rarely get close to beating (She's Scottish and has played since being knee high to a piper).

The last hole is 190yds to the front of the green and I was distance perfect but off the green to the right. A lovely chip left me 2 feet from the hole and I just needed the putt to draw, which I would have been over the moon with.

I pulled the putter back and just as I moved it forwards, a fly landed on my hand!!! and tickled me.

The putt went  6 inches past the hole and I had lost yet again. By one fly-affected stroke.

Anything weird like that ever happened to anyone else ?

Once I had a John Pettitt on hand.....and on one hole I scored an irrelevant.
