I am offering for sale my Ping i3's The specification can be changed at Ping Gainsborough Free of charge. The current set up is:: 11/4" Longer Maroon spot 4 Deg Upright SZ 65 Cushin STIFF shafts Midsize grips 4 - SW DD2 Regripped this year. The set is 1 - LW 13 clubs in all, and for now I would like to sell them all at once. The overall condition is very good regularly cleaned there is a small scratch on the sole of the 9 iron and the shaft on the 8 iron has a few rust spots that I have touched in with alumium paint, neither of these has any effect on the clubs. Price £250.00 thats less than £20.00 per club for a custom fit. They are about 10 YEARS OLD. I have lost a lot of my strength in the last few years and will be going for a differnt set of clubs with different shafts. If you look on the used ping website you will see that 8 or 9 irons for for this sort of money and single irons for £35.00 - £45 thats 4 irons for free valued at £160.00. All questions answered promptly.

HI Bob, I'm getting this mental picture of you being around 6ft 6-8 " tall or someone with very short arms on those spec's. Ping did well getting them out at D2 SW being 1 1/4 over standard, but the mid size grips would help a bitt. I3's were/are great irons good luck with the sale.

Thanks Dave 6ft 6in 18 - 19 stone. I will leave them on here for a while till they either sell or I put them on E-Bay. I have a leaning to Titleist A1 (New Model) but by the time you have upgraded the shafts and grips you are into to the thick end of £700.00 my other thought is Ping I15's but I have not hit that yet.

Used Ping have just offered me £222.00 so I think my pricing is way more than fair. Now I have some time to think over all the options

Dave Juste reread your post. My post Says 4-SW DD2 Regripped this year. That is golf pride DD2 Grips on the 4 - SW There is no Manufacturer that can get D2 Swing Weight out of longer clubs. The SW of these is D6 from memory.

£215 Delivered to a golf shaker. I have decided on Taylor Made r9's. They seem to do it all on the range, will have to see on the course.

Update, I had a lesson yesterday to try and sort out the shanks and a couple of things were spotted straight away. Perfect back swing and position at the top followed by a shoulder throw moving the club so far off line that there was no way I could get it back to the ball square. When the lesson was over and I was striking it something like I had ther9 demo 6 iron out again it is IMO an awsome club. we talked a deal and ordered a custom fit set there and then. Will let you know how I get on when the arrive and go on the course.

Taylor Made have delivery issues and clubs should be reaching customer by 17th May. I hope as it only leaves me 9 days before our second tour of 2010. Lots of range work do be done I think.
