A Bit of advice on pricing?

I've been asked to sell a set of Callaway X20 Tour irons with Project X shafts and multi-compound grips 3-PW.  Cracking condition as well.

I've looked on ebay and the same clubs are only available in the States for about £250-300.  I'm I looking at the same price?

Any suggestions from people in Pro shops would be helpful. Or any offers.

Cheers Gents.

Ebay - Well depends if you are lucky and get someone who wants to buy them really badly. You may get £250 to £300. Problem is with the fakes on Ebays these days people are so reluctant to spend on club sets. I've been trying to sell bits and pieces over the last few weeks and not getting any offers for my asking prices.

Pro-Shop - You'd not get cash for them straight away. No shop will just buy clubs. If they did you'd get about £100. If you were trading in against a set in the shop you'd probably get offered £150 to £200 off the set your looking at.

You could try getting a quote from Golfbidder, see if they would buy them off you. Though again they may be worse then a Pro-Shop. I know sometimes when I've contacted them to try and move on some of our old stock, the quotes that come back can be a bit of an insult.

Sent a request to Golf Bidder for an idea for a bottom price.  I suppose if the father in law gets desperate it'll be there.

I was thinking around £200 when he first asked me.  I might start them on ebay for that price and see how we get on.

Cheers Chris.
