Can you remember every shot?
Just adding my round from Saturday and I did it without the scorecard including GIR, FIR and bunkers. I was also thinking I can remember each shot and every club I hit as well.
Weird or just the norm?

Not weird at all, Chris, I have always been able to do this.
I might add that I can also do it for all my playing partners.
Blessed with a photographic memory, which I assumed everyone has but my wife tells me it is not so.

Not a problem remembering shots, although playing so many courses it helps having a card just to remind me of some advanced stats.

Its because you don't hit so many in a round anymore Chris I too can remember all my shots but unlike JP (I never got past pornographic memory) I would struggle to remember an entire fourball, but he's not alone I have a friend who couild tell you who was in your fourball at say The Old Course Villamora 12yrs ago and recite the round!

I can remember every shot for about a day, then it's gone!
The stats for each round I mark on a scorecard after each hole as I'm sure that I'll forget the important bits once the round is over.

Its strange to think though that some of us struggle to remember a sequence of numbers, words, etc. But I can remember the 78 shots I took on Saturday, clubs, number of putts, fairways, greens etc.
Must be something to do with Kinesthetic learning. I know the kids in my class learn tables better when we are creating movements with them.
Could be the same idea?

I certainly remember the bad shots.

When I have one of those good rounds it can be hard to get it out of my head! Many a night trying to fall asleep reliving the good shots.
Before any comments, yes 4 good shots and probably 2 nights
