Calling all Golfshake.com members in the East Midlands. The 2010 Golfshake Open is again to be held later in the year and here are details for the East Midlands Qualifier to be held at Springwater Golf Club.

Please click on the link below and register your interest. Places for this event will be filled very quickly so waste no time and register now.

Details on cost and the package I have secured are also listed, which in my opinion is excellent for the venue and the time of year at the height of the summer golfing season

Do you think the rule that you can only qualify in one event should be looked at I'm sure that if you  could qualify at any event that may well  attract more entries ??

 Your thoughts ??

Tough one that Dave because it favours people with more time & more money than others.

It also detracts from having regional qualifiers if you can play at any or more than 1 of them.

It is also worth noting that in "The Open" you can qualify from more than just 1 qualifying event

so why not allow it in our "Open"

my 2 pence worth

My view is that they should all be "open" as qualifiers but understand JF's point. I think it should be put to a vote.

I don't have a problem in being allowed to qualify at any event as long as once you have (qualified that is), you can't be considered for any others, but you can play them for enjoyment.

So will go with the flow might make it easier for me to qualify I'll just pick a weak event and shine through
