Jubilee Cup Information

Posted by: user20126 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Fri 19th Mar 2010 20:14 | Last Reply

I've been selected by my golf club to represent them in this years Jubilee Cup.

Stapleford Abbotts GC won this cup last year so I'm very proud to be asked to try and retain the trophy.

Last year the Jubilee Cup had a website (jubileecup.co.uk) but a couple of weeks ago the website went missing from the internet!

Has anybody any ideas on how I would get any information on the games, etc?

Russ really depends how long the site was 'live' for.  I've looked on the internet archive and it doesn't show anything.

Regards, Darren.

Darren, the website was up all last year and the beginning of this year.

Suddenly I kept getting a 404 message and then it didn't even appear in any search engines!

I know the games are still going ahead but it appears that the website has bit the dust.

I did a more specific search and found the site, it's still up but weirdly it's not being shown on my search engine.

My only problem is that I won the midweek medal at my golf club and it dropped my official handicap.

This means I have to play in the singles and not the pairs.

The singles all play off scratch (the minimum handicap you can have to play this comp is 12).
