Interesting concept, monitoring clubhead impact zone
I didn't go out to do this and have heard people talk about using impact tape before on clubheads to see where you hit the ball.
I'm just back from a quick meeting visit at the Belfry and took 20minutes out to hit some balls on the range, especially nice hitting premium Nike balls compared to the normal battered dimpleless ones at my local range.
Anyway the balls left a nice impact mark on my club heads which was nice to monitor, whilst they are generally around the centre the ball flight was a Pull (trying to work out the Slice). So the ball flight and impact zone gave some great feedback on our my swing is going or not
Anyone else do this or use impact tape ?

I've got some impact tape for my driver.
If it's going pear shape I'll go down the range/practice ground and put the tape on and see what's happening.

You aren't fooling anyone Darren, the top one has been photoshopped.

that was the 9 iron at the top. 7 iron not quite as good few towards heel.
interesting though in the ball position, the ball going straight but being pulled. tells a lot

Don't want to startle you Darren but towards the heel is good!
